Have you ever felt like you didn’t fit? Like a round peg in a square hole. Or have you ever felt that there was a higher purpose for your life than what you were living for? Larry and Kathleen did. They married in 1995 and two pieces of a mismatched puzzle were joined. Larry, coming from a life of carpentry, truck driving, jack of all trades background, knew only that he had a heart for the nations. Kathleen, living the modern day unfulfilled version of the Norman Rockwell life, knew only that she wanted desperately to reach out to the lonely and hurting. The two came together and created Encompass Ministries: Enabling ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

            The pair began their mission in Hong Kong, taking in bibles into China. The following year they traveled to China to evangelize, and on to Thailand to help with an orphanage. The two traveled back to China many times and well as visiting Thailand, Africa, Mongolia and Israel. Before the creation of Encompass Ministries, Larry had traveled to India and Russia sharing his heart and passions. At this present time, work is still being developed in these lands as well as the seeds being planted in the United States. (All of this work is in much greater detail throughout the website.)

            The heart of Encompass Ministries is two fold:

1)      Provide supplies, hope, love and the word of God to third world countries, enabling our brothers and sisters to be all that they are called to be.

2)      You! To enable you to accomplish all that you are called to be. You may be a carpenter, truck driver, housewife, business man or woman, but that is not all that you are. There are giftings and talents inside you, waiting to be discovered. At Encompass Ministries, we want to help you dig for buried treasure and uncover the blessings you have been gifted with. We want to enable YOU to do extraordinary things!
